Qatar Museums announces its first standalone pavilion, Qatar Pavilion, at the 15th Gwangju Biennale in South Korea. Qatar Museums anuncia su primer pabellón independiente, Qatar Pavilion, en la 15a Bienal de Gwangju en Corea del Sur. Curated by the National Museum of Qatar, the exhibition "Knock, Rain, Knock" features new works from seven Qatari and Qatar-based artists, exploring the significance of rain in Qatari culture. Curada por el Museo Nacional de Qatar, la exposición "Knock, Rain, Knock" presenta nuevas obras de siete artistas de Qatar y Qatar, explorando la importancia de la lluvia en la cultura qatarí. Open to the public Sept 7-Dec 1, 2024, at Kwangju Bank Art Hall, the pavilion focuses on Arab and Islamic identity, water symbolism, and communal experiences.
