JSW Neo Energy receives 400 MW hybrid wind-solar project from MSEDCL, increasing its capacity to 17.6 GW.

JSW Neo Energy, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, has received an additional 400 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL), raising the company's total locked-in generation capacity to 17.6 GW, including 3.2 GW of hybrid capacity. This project, part of MSEDCL's Phase III, increases JSW Neo's allotted capacity to 600 MW. JSW Energy aims to reach 10 GW of installed generation capacity by FY25 and has set ambitious targets, including achieving 20 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity before 2030, as well as carbon neutrality by 2050.
