Former IAS officer AP Shrivastava faces allegations of corruption and regulatory violation in his role as Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) chairman in Madhya Pradesh. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) launched a preliminary enquiry after receiving complaints accusing him of irregularities in appointments, age restrictions violation, and accepting a residential plot from a builder. Shrivastava is also facing a dispute with the state government, which has removed him from his position, but he refuses to resign.
