Ford adjusts DEI program, ceases participation in LGBTQ advocacy rankings under pressure from conservative groups.

Ford Motor Company is revising its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program, stopping participation in an LGBTQ advocacy group's ranking system, alongside other US firms facing pressure from conservative groups. The company will focus on taking care of employees and customers rather than commenting on polarizing issues. Ford CEO Jim Farley stated the company's employee resource groups will concentrate on networking, mentorship, professional development, and community service. The company has stopped participating in some external culture surveys, including one by the Human Rights Campaign, and various "best places to work" lists.
