European men, Nemanja Radovanovic of Serbia and Thomasz Szabo of Romania, have been charged with swatting incidents targeting US officials, including members of Congress, private citizens, and a Newsweek journalist. The duo allegedly conducted a three-year-long plot involving fake emergency calls designed to provoke aggressive police responses at their victims' homes. The charges include conspiracy and over two dozen counts of making threats.
