Burbank police cleared of wrongdoing in dropping off non-homeless man at Krekorian's office.
Burbank Police Department has cleared its officers in a case where they dropped off a man outside Los Angeles City Council President Paul Krekorian's office in June. The man was not homeless, but had rented a room in Sylmar. The police department's internal investigation and the FBI's Civil Rights Division's review found no evidence of wrongdoing. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and the California Department of Justice will also review the incident.
