Australian boxer Michael Zerafa's brother, Jason-Manuel Zerafa, punched rival trainer Tommy Mercuri during a post-fight brawl, following Zerafa's TKO victory against Tommy Browne. Browne suffered a bicep injury in the first round. Jason-Manuel Zerafa was charged with assault and banned for life by the fight's promoters. Retired American boxer Shawn Porter and boxing analyst Peter Badel have expressed disapproval of the incident and concerns about Jason-Manuel Zerafa's involvement in boxing in the future.
