17-year veteran Kansas City firefighter, Brandon Hullinger, saved a child from drowning at a local pool while off-duty. Hullinger was applauded for his quick action in response to someone shouting for help. He performed CPR on the seven-year-old child, who was then transported to Children's Mercy Hospital with breathing and a pulse, and is expected to recover. The child's current condition is stable, and it is expected that they will make a full recovery.
