Supreme Court to review Sept. 24 NGO's plea on implementing child safety guidelines in schools.

The Supreme Court will hear on Sept. 24 a plea by NGO 'Bachpan Bachao Andolan', urging the implementation of Centre's guidelines on child safety and security in Indian schools. The NGO alleges that only five states have implemented the guidelines, while the remaining have failed to notify them. The plea follows recent sexual assault incidents in schools.
