Oklahoma Corporation Commission approved a $31 million rate hike for Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) customers, leading to an additional $1.33 per month on a customer's bill. The increase is for capital investments in 2023 like infrastructure upgrades and service expansion. Despite the increase, ONG states customers will still pay less this year than 2023, with average residential customers saving $107 or 10%. The rate change took effect in late June. Commissioner Bob Anthony was the sole "no" vote, expressing concerns about the ethics proceeding.
