4 Maryland teens charged for burglarizing gun stores, stealing over 80 firearms.
4 individuals aged 16 to 20 have been charged with burglarizing multiple gun stores across Maryland between Dec 2023 and Mar 2024, stealing over 80 firearms and 10 replicas. The group operated late at night, using a crowbar. Only six stolen guns have been recovered, all in possession of people who cannot legally own them. The suspects allegedly attempted to sell or trade the guns on social media, while in two instances, the group lost some of the stolen weapons. Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown emphasized that the state will hold accountable those who break the law and contribute to the presence of illegal guns in communities.
