Lawyers for Jarryd Hayne consider settlement talks after rape accusation charges dropped.
Jarryd Hayne's lawyers are considering settlement talks with his rape accuser as criminal charges against him have been dropped. In June, the ex-NRL star's convictions were quashed by the appeal court following a jail stint. A NSW Supreme Court civil case against Hayne was adjourned for a week to discuss holding an "informal settlement conference". The civil case will return to court on September 4 for further directions.
