Kalamazoo Public Safety fought two vacant house fires within an hour, with no injuries reported in either incident.
Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to two vacant house fires within an hour on Wednesday morning. The first fire, at 1:36 a.m. on Humphrey Street, was extinguished in 15 minutes with no reported injuries. The second fire, at 1:44 a.m. on Sherwood Avenue, took 45 minutes to control but also resulted in no injuries. The Kalamazoo Public Safety Fire Marshal is currently investigating both incidents.
