ISRO's EOS-08 satellite has successfully launched and generated data products using its GNSS-Reflectometry (GNSS-R) instrument, India's first space-borne precision receiver. GNSS-R collects reflected signals from GPS and NavIC to provide data on soil moisture, surface inundation, ocean surface wind, and wave measurements. This innovative mode of remote sensing requires minimal resources and could potentially be scaled up as a constellation of receivers.
