Former Henderson County police chief April Meadows, 39, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for selling drugs seized by the Payne Springs Police Department and a concurrent two-year term for money laundering. Meadows pleaded guilty and won't appeal. She and Reserve Officer Jonathan Paul Hutchison, arrested in 2023, were found with controlled substances in their homes during a search warrant execution.
