4 Delhi co-owners of a basement coaching center moved to HC for bail, accused of IAS aspirants' deaths due to illegal use in 2024.
Four co-owners of a basement coaching center in Delhi moved to the Delhi High Court for bail after a trial court rejected their previous application. The trial court held them responsible for the drowning deaths of three IAS aspirants in 2024 due to their illegal use of the basement. The accused argue that they weren't named in the FIR, cooperated with the investigation, and the incident was due to heavy rain and sewer system issues. The Central Bureau of Investigation claims the basement was meant for storage and the accused knew the risks of running a coaching center there.
