Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma accuses Jharkhand's Special Branch Police of spying on former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren, who is expected to join BJP. Two sub-inspectors were caught by Soren's people in a Delhi hotel, allegedly tailing him. Sarma claims the surveillance was ordered by a "person in Constitutional position" and the Special Branch chief. He also suspects Soren's phone might have been tapped and that there could have been plans to "honey trap" him.
