60-year-old Myrtle Beach man arrested in Charleston for attempting criminal sexual conduct with a minor after contacting undercover officer posing as 14-year-old girl.
60-year-old Myrtle Beach man Bryant Keith Moorefield faces multiple charges, including second-degree attempted criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first-degree attempted sexual exploitation of a minor, and four counts of criminal solicitation of a minor, after allegedly traveling to Charleston to engage in sexual activity with a child. Moorefield contacted an undercover member of the South Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children task force, posing as a 14-year-old girl, in February 2024. He was arrested upon arrival in Charleston and released after posting a $260,000 bond.
