85-year-old director Francis Ford Coppola denies allegations of unprofessional behavior during filming of his $120M film, Megalopolis. Coppola was accused of pulling women onto his lap and kissing female extras during a nightclub scene. He told Rolling Stone the allegations were "totally untrue" and that someone wanted to harm his movie because he does not "follow rules" set by Hollywood. Megalopolis executive co-producer Darren Demetre defended Coppola, stating that he was unaware of any complaints of harassment or ill behavior during the film's production. Coppola admitted to kissing women on set but denied allegations of unprofessional behavior.
