18-year-old Brandon Durossette from Smithville, MO died in a car crash on Highway 291 near Liberty on 25 August, after his Cadillac CTS4 veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a Honda Pilot. The Honda driver, yet unidentified, suffered serious injuries. The Liberty Police Department is investigating the incident.
