South Pacific Metals discovers high-grade gold at Ontenu Prospect in its Osena Gold-Copper Project, Papua New Guinea.

South Pacific Metals (SPMC) reports exceptional surface trenching results at its Osena Gold-Copper Project in Papua New Guinea. Initial assay results at the Ontenu Prospect include an 8.82g/t gold sample, part of a large-scale gold-copper porphyry system spanning an area of at least 2.5km by 1km. Further exploration is planned to fully characterize the mineralized system and identify additional targets.
