Saskatchewan Polytechnic held a sod-turning ceremony for its new central campus in Saskatoon, near the University of Saskatchewan and Innovation Place. The campus aims to create an 'Innovation Corridor' and will be the only campus in Canada to house a university, a polytechnic, and a research park. The $100 million project has collected 60% of its funding goal, with the provincial government committing up to $200 million. Construction is set to begin in 2026.
