Rivers State Board of Internal Revenue Service Director, Aribibia Fubara, was kidnapped by armed gunmen in Port Harcourt. The assailants, estimated at six, stormed the area in a commando-style, abducted Fubara, and fled on a boat. The Rivers State Police Command, led by Commissioner Olatunji Disu, has launched an investigation and deployed tactical units to secure Fubara's release unharmed, amid a rising trend of kidnap-for-ransom cases in the oil-rich region.
