President-elect Trump appoints Kennedy and Gabbard as honorary co-chairs of his transition team.

President-elect Donald Trump has appointed former independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard as honorary co-chairs of his presidential transition team. Both Kennedy and Gabbard have previously served as progressive Democrats and recently endorsed Trump. The transition team assists in selecting policies and personnel for potential second term.
