Lowe's removes DEI programs, stops HRC surveys, consolidates employee groups, and ends community event sponsoring/attendance.

Home improvement retailer Lowe's has removed some diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, and will no longer participate in surveys by the Human Rights Campaign. The company plans to consolidate diverse employee business resource groups under a single umbrella organization and stop sponsoring or attending community events. This move follows criticism of diversity initiatives in the US, particularly after protests in 2020 highlighted racial and gender disparities in corporate leadership.
