JD Wetherspoon is opening a new pub, "The Lion and Unicorn," at London Waterloo Station on September 3, investing £2.8M. The pub, specializing in real ales, traditional ciders, craft and world beers, will create 70 jobs. Inspired by the historic Lion and Unicorn Pavilion from the 1951 Festival of Britain, it's part of Wetherspoon's aim to expand from 801 sites to 1,000 venues.
