Human Rights Watch (HRW) ha instado al gobierno interino de Bangladesh a abordar las violaciones de los derechos humanos, proponiendo un mecanismo independiente para investigar y perseguir la rendición de cuentas por los recientes abusos graves en el país. HRW recommends establishing an independent domestic inquiry into enforced disappearances, torture, and extrajudicial killings under UN support and oversight, and implementing measures to bring civilian oversight over security forces and reform institutions in line with international human rights standards.
