Dayton police officers shot a man with a criminal record and two handguns, one reported stolen, after he failed to drop his weapon per police commands. The man, Grady, is expected to be released from the hospital and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is handling the criminal investigation, while the Dayton Police Department will conduct an administrative investigation. Both officers are on paid administrative leave.
