Arizona Libertarian activist Rebekah Massie was arrested and cited for trespassing during a Surprise City Council meeting after criticizing City Attorney Robert Wingo for alleged constitutional violations. Massie claimed meeting rules, which specify charges or complaints against city employees should be submitted during normal business hours, infringed on her First Amendment rights. After refusing to leave when asked, she was escorted out by police and charged with criminal trespassing.
