40-year-old man dies in residential fire in Portland's Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood.
A residential fire in Portland's Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood resulted in one fatality, according to Portland Fire & Rescue. The incident occurred at around 3:24 a.m. on Southeast Flavel Street. Firefighters found heavy fire engulfing the home and attempting resuscitation, but the 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
