35-year-old All Blacks legend Sam Whitelock retires from rugby, moving to cyclone-hit Hawke's Bay, NZ to farm and contribute to the local community. After a 153-cap career, including the Rugby World Cup final in Paris, Whitelock aims to stay involved in rugby but hasn't decided on specifics. He will join fellow All Blacks lock and Hawke's Bay resident Brodie Retallick.
