Rwanda's Chief of Defence Staff launched a two-week training course at RPA, funded by APSA, partnering with RPA and EASF, for military personnel from the region.

Rwanda's Chief of Defence Staff, General MK Mubarakh, launched a two-week Training of Trainers course at Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA) in Musanze, funded by African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA). The course, organized in partnership with RPA and Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), aims to prepare future trainers for Standby Force Headquarters staff course, crucial for future deployments to AU/EASF-mandated Peace Support Operations (PSO) at the Headquarters level. The course will run until September 6, 2024, and is attended by military personnel from Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, Uganda, and Eastern Africa Standby Force Headquarters.
