10 Play breached gambling advertising rules during live-streamed sports events, committing 133 contraventions, prompting an ACMA investigation.

10 Play, a Network Ten streaming platform, breached gambling advertising rules by airing gambling ads outside allowed times during live-streamed sports events. ACMA launched an investigation following complaints on 14 October about live streams of the A-League Women's and a Socceroos friendly match. The platform committed 133 contraventions of the Online Rules, with 101 violations of section 12 and 32 violations of section 15. Network Ten attributed the breach to a manual coding error and has upgraded its processes to provide more automation around the scheduling of gambling ads.
