New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill allowing direct liquor shipping within & from state.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill amending the state's liquor law, allowing distillers direct access to state consumers. Senate Bill S2852A and Assembly A3132 permit direct intrastate and interstate shipment of liquor, cider, mead, and braggot, as well as direct shipments of wine. Licensed New York distillers can ship up to 36 cases (9L/case) to 21+ residents, and New Yorkers can purchase from out-of-state distillers if their state permits. Out-of-state distillers, shippers, and customers must meet specific criteria, including obtaining an annual direct shipper's license, paying sales tax, and products being for personal use only.
