Kuwait's Interior Ministry dismantled a 5-member international drug trafficking network on August 25. The operation, involving the General Directorate for Drug Control, seized 60 kg of marijuana and hashish worth $2.45M. The network smuggled drugs from a European country to Kuwait via Kuwait International Airport. Two customs employees abused their positions to facilitate the smuggling process.
