A man, Pratik Mhatre, was booked in Thane, India for allegedly filming a woman employee in a jewellery shop dressing room on 23 August. The woman noticed someone watching her through a peephole on her mobile phone, alerted others, but Mhatre escaped. Police are investigating whether he was a staff member or customer, and have registered a case under BNS sections 77 (voyeurism) and 78 (stalking).
