Maharashtra's cabinet approved the expansion of Chief Minister Solar Krishi Vahini Yojana 2.0, aiming to supply uninterrupted daytime electricity to agricultural pumps. The state govt will offer a 30% financial aid fund for the remaining solar power capacity, with a total financial aid of Rs. 10,041 crore from 2024-25 to 2026-27. The scheme targets a 16,000 MW decentralised solar power generation capacity by 2025.
