7 Labone SHS students barred from WASSCE for repeated tardiness during Deputy Minister visit.
Seven students from Labone Senior High School were barred from taking the West African Senior School Certificate Exam (WASSCE) on 26 August 2024, due to repeated tardiness. This incident occurred during a visit from the Deputy Minister of Education, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour. The headmistress, Rejoice Akua Acorlor, expressed concern and urged parents to guide their children on punctuality, while the school is working on addressing the issue.
