Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Economy and Commerce announces a 90-day temporary state regulation of coal prices, starting September 15, to prevent price increases and ensure affordability. The Antimonopoly Regulation Service will enforce the regulation as coal is considered socially significant. The government also considers a draft resolution to ban coal exports on road, effective September 20, to tackle supply issues.
