Gold Road Resources reported a $43.1m net profit and $211.7m in gold sales for H1 2024, despite reduced production due to a regional rain event.

Gold Road Resources reported a net profit of $43.1m for the six months to 30 June 2024, with gold sales reaching $211.7m. The company's production fell to 63,542 oz due to reduced production in March and April following a prolonged regional rain event. Despite the challenges, Gold Road maintains its 2024 annual gold production guidance at 290,000 to 305,000 oz. The managing director, Duncan Gibbs, expressed confidence in the mine's prospects and plans to ramp up gold production in the second half of 2024.
