China unveiled a three-phase plan to develop international aviation hubs by 2050, aiming to establish world-class hubs and enterprises. By 2025, air transport production and service coverage will be fully restored. By 2035, hubs will meet world-class standards in transport scale, international coverage, connectivity, and transfer efficiency. Major hubs in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou will enhance intercontinental connections, while regional hubs with international potential, such as Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Kunming, Xi'an, Harbin, and Urumqi, will accelerate development. The goal is to boost China's position as a leading global aviation power with robust infrastructure, high public satisfaction, and strong competitiveness.
