Algeria plans to attract 5-fold more tourists by 2030, aiming for 12.5 million annual visitors. The North African country, which had 2.5 million visitors last year, will invest in tourism promotion, service enhancement, and new legislation to stimulate investments. Despite this, the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office advises against all travel to certain parts due to terrorism and security threats.
