2,000-year-old Taoping Qiang Village in China's Sichuan province has seen a tourism boom due to film and TV series like "Design of Death" and "Forbidden Kiss". The village, which serves as a testament to the Qiang culture, welcomed 109,700 tourists between January and August 2023, generating a revenue of more than 84 million yuan ($12 million USD). In response to the influx, the village has opened a special area displaying film and TV stills and offers guided tours of filming locations.
