Renowned German soccer coach Christoph Daum, known for leading Stuttgart to a Bundesliga title in 1992 and winning league and cup double with Austria Vienna in 2003, has passed away at 70 after a battle with cancer. Daum coached nine clubs over 30 years, winning 10 titles, including the German championship with Stuttgart and Turkish championship three times. German Football Association praised his passion for the game and ability to inspire players.
