21-year-old Mirra Bride Dot Popee Chafin died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 near mile marker 293 in Cullman County, Alabama. Chafin's Ford Mustang left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned, ejecting both occupants. Neither Chafin nor her passenger were wearing seat belts. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating the incident, which also involved a Toyota Sienna and resulted in injuries to the Sienna's driver and Chafin's passenger.
