Waterford Kettering's soccer team secured their second consecutive victory at the 2024 Avondale Hive Tournament, held on August 24th in Auburn Hills. In a closely contested match, they defeated the host team, Avondale Yellow Jackets, 2-1 in a penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw. Both teams had impressive group stage performances, with Avondale finishing 3-0 in Group A and Waterford Kettering unbeaten in Group B.
