SERAP urges Nigerian governors and FCT minister to disclose details of Chinese loans and external borrowings.
Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) urges Nigeria's 36 state governors and FCT minister to disclose details, terms, and conditions of Chinese loans and other external borrowings obtained or guaranteed by the Federal Government. SERAP is concerned about the mismanagement of public funds and potential financial risks associated with Nigeria's growing debt exposure to China and other creditors. The organization seeks information on investment agreements with Chinese companies, repayment histories, and debt restructuring.
