Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired meetings to discuss the dissolution of Pakistan's Public Works Department (PWD). He directed that those found guilty of corruption would not receive a financial package. The PM also tasked officials with finalizing the transfer of ongoing PWD projects to provinces and relevant departments and requested rapid recommendations on the closure. In another meeting, he ordered the implementation of an e-office system in government offices within a month to improve transparency and digitization.
