Muniswamy Gowda, a businessman in Hassan, Karnataka, and his wife Shilparani allegedly plotted to kill a man resembling Gowda to claim life insurance benefits and cover financial losses. Gowda was arrested, but Shilparani remains at large. The couple had devised a plan to fake Gowda's death and collect insurance money due to financial issues stemming from Gowda's tyre shop losses and borrowed funds. The police are still searching for the victim, and it is revealed that Gowda and Shilparani attempted to kill him three times before.
