Irish taekwondo athlete Jack Woolley competed in his second Paris Olympics, enjoyed the spectator experience, and plans to inspire more people to take up the sport.
Irish taekwondo athlete Jack Woolley, who competed in the Paris Olympics for the second time, called his experience "what he expected and more." Though he didn't win a medal, Woolley was proud to be a two-time Olympian and enjoyed the fuller spectator experience after the Tokyo Olympics' COVID restrictions. He plans to inspire more people to take up taekwondo, appreciating the sport's growing popularity. Woolley is now taking a break from training but plans to return to the ring for the Grand Prix in China in October and adjusts to life post-Olympics.
